XLR8 Alpine Racing’s COMP Team program provides 5 training sessions a week for a total of 12 hours on snow with results-driven coaching for advanced racers seeking to reach the next level of ski racing: U.S. Ski & Snowboard Rocky Central Championships, High School State Championships or NASTAR Nationals. All COMP Team Members are also eligible for our Nubs Nob Weekend Training Session 6-8 weekends a season. XLR8 COMP Team athletes will train in Giant Slalom, Slalom and Super G alpine disciplines. Skiers are grouped by ability and ski with the same professional coaches throughout the season for consistency and individual attention.
Our goal is to develop racers physically and mentally by using a variety of proven ski racing drills and the latest U.S. Ski & Snowboard teaching techniques. Our positive teaching approach leads to strong character, increases self-esteem, and instills confidence on and off the hill.
